He called the cartridges "tapes" and blew them hard. I remember going over to my friend's house to play NES games. I thought I would get to see Coko's long fingernails in person, but our seats were too far away. My mom took me to see SWV in 1993-ish, I believe. I see that you're into the "New Jack Swing." I didn't know it was called that until recently, but I liked a lot of that music too.
Wasn't really restricted from much, so I have a lot of good music/tv/movie memories from that time. Probably not very appropriate for a kid to listen to but my parents didn't really care. I can't imagine what my mom was thinking when she walked by and heard that song playing.must have given her a good laugh.
My favorite song (besides U Can't Touch This, of course) was Soft and Wet. I remember being in my room listening to that tape and dancing my heart out. I loved MTV and all of us kids were obsessed with MC Hammer, I don't know why. I was only 5-9 in 1990-1994 and totally looked up to all the 20 year olds of that time. Agree! I just wish I would have been a little older.
